Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku has confirmed that he has been instrumental in his move to Chelsea this summer.
Lukaku says he has spoken privately with new Inter Milan boss Simone Inzhagi and asked his Inter Milan side to accept offers from his former club Chelsea.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Belgium striker, but Inter have turned it down before Lukaku pressured the club to sell.
Lukaku has scored 64 goals in 95 appearances for Inter Milan over a two-year spell since joining from Manchester United.
Lukaku has signed a contract with Chelsea until 2026 and scored his first goal of the season in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Arsenal.
